In our attempts to improve the quality of our Internet Service in Inuvik, New North Networks have new Cable Modems available for purchase. Our new DOCSIS modems (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) are much smaller than the previous cable modems and can be used anywhere should you move from Inuvik. The modems support standard Ethernet connectivity. For those that do not have an Ethernet card in their computer, the modem also supports USB connectivity and a CD is included with the drivers for Windows.

A new addition to our Internet Service would be the introduction of our CableNet Light service. CableNet Light gives you unlimited access to the Internet at dial up speeds using your cable modem. This allows us to offer you a lost cost Internet solution that will help you keep your phone line free. Costs for the modem and pricing can be found in the Internet Services section of the website.
